This initiative has set itself the goal of honoring all those who work hard during the festive Christmas season, while 80% of German citizens have time off.
are off work. During this time of celebration and love, these heroes ensure that the lights don’t go out. They provide emergency care, make sure presents get to loved ones far away, put bread and food on the table and enable carefree vacations in hotels – to name just a few of their heroic deeds.
The inspiration for this project came from a touching WDR video in which a boy baked cookies for “his” bus drivers.

Homeosearch.org – the homeopathic search engine
The project was started by Volker who restored his life with homeopathy and with the help of great homeopaths. Having studied using online resources himself, he realized information about homeopathy become less and less visible in search engines. What many dont know – google discards less used pages. So if website x is less visitied (due to interest, compared to otther pages), the ranking will loose its former good position.
The idea behind homeosearch is to build long-term a independent, opensource search engine, that gives great search results and garantues online access for students and pratiotionairs to come in the whole world. The further development will depend on how the community needs the searchengine.

Since 2016 Volker started GIB – Gute Ideen Blog, that describes projects that really make a difference to that world. From doing that blog, the idea developed again, to help small social enterprises.

World Biodynamc Day.
Volker started in 2016 the World Biodynamc Day, that brought people and friends of biodynamic farming together at the same day/time and celebrate biodynamic farming. The project was soley organised and administered by Volker without any budget – but with simple guerilla technique the project wsa a success. Roughly 1000 People or Farms participated worldwide. The World Biodynamic Day is now organised by Demeter International, the head organisation for biodynamic farming worldwide.
Do you really know?
The first new social impact project now is „Do you really know?“ and tries to play with the mindset we have about mental challenges or illnesses. It seems for every illness, there is a stereotypical image already around and people can just call up on that imageand then project it onto you.

Fair Trade Laden, Witten Germany.
An example how unusual help can be. The Fair Trade Shop had severe storage problems. A made to fit shelve solved all the problem. Instead of buying expensive shelves in a furniture shop, that was set up with wood from the DIY store. It changed the whole setting and more products could be stored more effiziently.
Development of Fair Trade Alpaca yarn for community in Peru.
It originally started with the idea, that Volker wanted to do what he wanted to do originally – creating a fair trade knitting yarn. Together with a local community in Peru, who had loads of contacts to women with spinning skils, they developed a high quality yarn. In the end, Volker could not jump in and order large bulks, so he was happy when a company from Canada just took on the work her and the communidad set up over 1.5 years.
